Originating on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, Cabernet Franc seems to have been brought to France by pilgrims returning from Santiago de Compostela. This very ancient vine, which can be traced back to the Carmenets family, then spread to the Bordeaux area and the Loire. As early as the 18th century, Cabernet Franc was first cultivated in the Veneto region, where it has established itself over the centuries as one of the best-adapted international vines.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eDalle Ore Cabernet Franc is an expression of the pure blackberry variety of the same name grown according to certified organic and biodynamic farming principles. The rows, located at an altitude of approximately 300 metres above sea level, are planted on clayey soils of volcanic origin characterised by an abundant presence of mineral substances. Harvesting is generally carried out by hand around mid-September, and the grapes are then mellowed in 40-hectolitre oak vats for spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in contact with the skins.
