Edi Kante was among the first to believe in the potential of the area and to revive the ancient traditions of this small corner of Friuli with renewed momentum and passion. The environmental conditions are characterized by a sunny and mild Mediterranean climate, cooled by the Bora wind blowing from the northeast. The soils consist of \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003elimestone rocks\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e outcrops covered by little soil. The vines are expressed with low natural yields and high quality grapes, which enable the production of wines with a great personality. The vines are grown at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level on soil composed of a thin layer of red soil rich in iron minerals is a rocky substrate. At the end of the classic white winemaking process, the wine matures in the cellar dug underground for 12 months in new barriques and another 6 months in steel before being bottled without filtration. It has an intense straw yellow colour. The aromas are reminiscent of local herbs, wild flowers, ripe fruit and tropical fruit. The taste is rich, complex and persistent, with a centre of the mouth characterized by fruity aromas and a savoury, refreshing finish.
